Ok, so it's Wednesday and I'm finidng it harder and harder to keep my eyes open at work. The matchsticks broke and then I ran out of matches :(

Definatley time for an early night tonight so I'll make this quite quick.

I'm just slobbing out when I get home at the moment but I really really want to get some crafting done......soooo....this weekend I plan to catch up on a load of Journal Your Christmas entries that I haven't done at all and maybe alter something, so watch out for pics on Sunday evening.

I've been watching stargazing live on bbc 2 as well and it's really fired my interest in astronomy back up after goodness knows how many years. So if the weather is nice this weekend I plan to set my camera up in the back garden and try and take some night sky pics......we'll see how it goes!!!

TTFN for now. I probably won't be back until the weekend now due to being comatose through exhaustion.

Back in service!!!

I can't believe how long it is since I last blogged. Could have something to do with my lack of internet connection!!!

Life is good now though and lots have things have changed. I got married in October to my beautiful and wonderful husband Phill. We've been together 5 years and decided that it was about time we tied the knot. We had a very traditional Church wedding with all our friends and family there to support and celebrate with us. It was amazing.

We've moved into a new house (5 days after the wedding....because we're mad like that!!!) and it's wonderful. We've spent the last 2 months painting and decorating and buying lots of new furniture for the house. It's almost there now, just a few rooms left to paint :)

Back to work today after the Christmas holidays *sigh* but it means the money keeps coming in :)

Have any of you made any new years resolutions this year? Mine was just to bake and cook more, so watch out for weird and wonderful cupcakes, jam recipes and lots of scrapbooking and altered art posts on here, and also to blog more :)

JYC uploads get off the ground!!!

So here we are....a couple of days after the 1st December I'll admit....but here are the pages I've been working on for JYC so far. I've not pre-prepped my pages....my brain just won't take it as I never know what I'm going to do until I do it. I've not found it too bad so far though. If anything, it's forced me to leave work on time, rather than work till stupid o clock, just for the pure enjoyment of getting home and doing some more challenging and exciting scrapping. I'll start here with my Front cover and will add another post with my first three pages.....i've got 2 to do today as I just couldn't get my brain in gear yesterday!!

HURRAH FOR TECHNOLOGY!!!!

OK, so this will be the first of a couple of posts today. I'd just like to say how happy I am that I've finally got mobile broadband.....it's fantastic!!! What makes me so happy about it is the fact that I can now blog whenever I want.....upload piccies, and read the prompts for JYC on a weekend which is always a good idea :)

JYC 2009

OK, so what a way to start my new blog!!!

Journal Your Christmas 2009 starts today and I'm so excited!!! We received our first prompt this morning so I'll be dashing home to get on with my layout.

This is the first year I have done this and hopefully it will stretch my scrapping knowledge to the limits. I'm hoping to try lots of new techniques and complete it on time!!!

I'm sure i'll end up doing 2 or 3 layouts on a Saturday just to catch up but hey ho!!!
